You just make up your mind to move on. In the back of your head, ';what could have been'; is always there. Eventually, those feelings will pass. Do things to occupy your mind. You have to do things that don't remind you of her in any way. It also helps some of us to talk. Just to hear other people say it's going to be all right. As much as it eases your mind to talk, it doesn't help to kill the memory.How do men truly cope with divorce, without going back to the ex. after years of knowing that person.?
I'm in first 6 months - probably begged too much by now - and I don't want to ignore her, but I have too, right? I am so literally broken, but what breaks my heart the most is our baby. How do you cope w/o urge to father and wanting to be around spouse, too? God, divorce sucks. Wish that I was the kind of person who cleaned when annoyed. Other q: I gave up smoke, drink, etc., right now too for own sake and baby's. Bad timing, but it's done, too - when will self come back? Every one is different. I have been divorced and I will tell you what I went straight to the bottle i was angry hateful and very rude to all females until my wife now came along. she has made me a better person. The answer of going back to the ex is out of the question for myself. We are better friends then we where lovers.
i know how you feel iv never being married but just split with my partner of 13 years so might as well of being married its ******* hard it being in a routine that i think you miss the most and thinking you will never find any one ells you feel like the world around you is going to end if you don't take this person back and we still love them deep down and think this will never go away but it does but it going to take a long time so you need to keep busy go out and socialize with friends do the stuff you did before you met that person
